ColorCards Listening Skills Indoor Sounds Revised Edition

ColorCards Listening Skills Indoor Sounds Revised Edition is a sound and picture matching activity. There are forty different sounds on the CD and forty matching laminated cards. The sounds are arranged in four groups of ten. For each group, there is an accompanying set of ten cards. These indoor sounds are familiar and will generally be within the experience of most students.

The four contents groups include:

● People; whistling, singing, sneezing, snoring, laughing, crying, yawning, coughing, shouting, and clapping.

● Everyday sounds; clock, washing machine, phone, door bell, electric kettle, stirring coffee, bathroom shower, toilet flush, eating an apple, and coming downstairs.

● Being Busy; drying hair, cleaning teeth, typing, drilling, frying, vacuuming, hammering, sweeping, running tap, and chopping vegetables.

● Having Fun; computer game, pouring a drink, piano, activity center, personal stereo, guitar, splashing, blowing up a balloon, playing with a toy car, and eating crisps.
