ColorCards Listening Skills Outdoor Sounds

ColorCards Listening Skills Outdoor Sounds is a sound and picture matching activity. There are forty different sounds on the CD and forty matching laminated cards. The sounds are arranged in four groups of ten. For each group there is an accompanying set of ten cards. Some of these outdoor sounds may be less familiar than the 'ColorCards Listening Skills "Indoor Sounds". Students may need assistance in order to identify some sound presentations.

The four contents groups include:

● Animals; bee, cow, sheep, pig, cat, dog, horse, cockerel, duck, and parrot.

● Out & About; mobile phone, car alarm, traffic, rain, road drill, mower, cash machine, clock chiming, car starting, and waves.

● Having Fun; racing car, fireworks, tennis, jogging, game crowd, swimming, horse riding, school playground, skateboarding, and audience applause.

● Transportation; helicopter, truck going uphill, car, police car, train, airplane, motor boat, motor bike, bike with bell, and rowing boat.
