Lessons for the Right Brain

Lessons for the Right Brain workbook series stimulate useful cognitive skills, often lost through right brain injury. This set of five 64-page workbooks helps the individual learn and retrieve such skills as writing notes, telling time, reading street maps, and finding phone numbers.

● Memory Workbook requires the individual to recall daily activities, seasons, months of the year, shapes, words, and pictures.

● Reading and Writing Workbook reminds the subject how to write checks and balance a checkbook; copy words and sentences; and write messages, thank-you notes, addresses, and classified ads. This workbook series help the subject to recognize and understand letters, sentences, calendars, weather reports, phone books, prescriptions, and maps.

● Visual Perception and Attention Workbook teaches the subject to discriminate between like and unlike items, provides exercises for visual organization and picture completion, and drills the subject in telling time and in recognizing household items and common adages.

● Thought Organization Workbook requires the subject to complete letter and word puzzles; compose sentences; and organize shapes, numbers, events, and language.

● Self-Perception/Organizing Functional Information Workbook drills the subject to recognize human and animal body parts, to discriminate between right and left, and to explore personal attributes and attitudes, emotions and humor, and personal problem solving.
