Sensory Motor Activities for the Young Child

Sensory Motor Activities for the Young Child contains more thn 100 fun therapy activities and ideas for children ages 3 through 6. Each reproducible page includes a brief description of the benefits the activity will provide for the child, materials needed for the activity, advance preparation if necessary, simple step-bystep directions, and additional suggestions and ideas. Activities are appropriate for the clinic, the home (great parent handouts!), and the school. Materials are commonly used items, or things you can make or purchase inexpensively.

This introduction puts the complex theory of sensory processing into laypersons' terms. The reproducible appendixes make excellent handouts for parents, professionals, and caregivers.
